De jaarlijkse Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition botteling is in aantocht! De 2024 editie werd afgelopen zaterdag in de VS geïntroduceerd en verwachten we in november in Nederland. Je leest er alvast alles over in deze blog post.

De 2024 editie is tussen de 12 en 20 jaar oud en is gemaakt van bourbons met de volgende 4 recepturen:

• OBSV (Mashbill B met 60% corn, 35% rye en 5% malted barley, gist V) 12yo
• OESK (Mashbill E met 75% corn, 20% rye en 5% malted barley, gist K) 15yo
• OESF (Mashbill E met 75% corn, 20% rye en 5% malted barley, gist F) 16yo
• OBSV (Mashbill B met 60% corn, 35% rye en 5% malted barley, gist V) 20yo

De officiële proefnotities luiden als volgt:

This 2024 Limited Edition release is a symphony of lively flavors that captivate the senses with every sip. Creamy vanilla, honey and brown sugar on the nose are followed by the flavors of ripe berries and tangy citrus on the palate. Intertwined are herbal notes and Four Roses’ signature mellow spice to balance out the layers of complexity and sweetness with a delicate finish – for a pour that’s ready to savor and enjoy.
